How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

At some point signing out of Outlook started redirecting to MSN. This is really frustrating - especially when accidently clicking anywhere on the screen that is NOT the login field causes the login form to disappear.

How do I disable this redirect? I would like to see the outlook login page when I sign out - not the MSN news page.

    no, havent verified with firefox 57. i used it successfully about a year ago tho when i was on firefox,  but ive since switched to chrome now.

    I use Greasemonkey and the "no msn on hotmail signout" script with Firefox 56. No problems.

    Greasemonkey has been re-written to run in Firefox 57.

    I have not (yet) migrated to Firefox 57.

    Have you verified that these will work on Firefox 57?

    This was problematic to me too. The work around I discovered was to, instead of signing out of Outlook mail, clear my browser data. After clearing your browser data, sign in to another Outlook account, continue  to surf the net, or closeout your browser.

    If you use Firefox as your browser, and you are familiar with the free add-in called Greasemonkey (which is used to run scripts in Firefox), then there is a simple script that you can use to redirect to any site you choose (such as the Outlook sign-in site) when signing out of Outlook.

    If you want the script, then post here in this thread and I will provide the script.
