Outlook.com Calendar cannot be added to iCal

Hello,

I have a Macbook and want to use my Outlook.com account on iCal.   I would like to use this as my primary calendar to add all events and invite attendees so that it is in the Outlook.com cloud.   I cannot seem to add it using the Mac preferences.  Please help.

Hey!

Choose Exchange and when it asks Username its your email address. Then it asks Internal Server and External Server so those are both outlook.office365.com. Worked for me.

    I understand where you are coming from. We would just like to let you know that we, at Microsoft, do not have the control on which platform or services will be available on Apple devices. It is best to reach Apple support team to clarify this.

    Hi HeeroYuy001,

    Thank you for getting back to us. To add your Outlook.com Calendar, you only have two(2) options it is to subscribe or import Calendar. You may contact Apple support regarding your issue that you want the Outlook.com feature be added on your Apple device.

    ...but that didn't really work...

    Again, I would suggest Microsoft work with Apple to add Outlook.com as an option to Internet Accounts, under System Preferences. 

    Outllook.com is available as an option on iOS devices. Google, Yahoo and others are listed on there; so no reason why Microsoft/Outlook are not listed with the other big players on OS X. Microsoft has an opportunity to work with Apple to get the option added in before OS X Yosemite is released; it's currently in beta release. 

    Also - if anyone reading this forum is using the Yosemite Beta; I would urge that you submit feedback to Apple asking them to add Outlook.com as an Internet Account Option. 

    Lei - I thank you for your help; but I don't think there's much that can be done. Please just elevate this to the proper dev team, or the right people, that can get the option added to Internet Accounts.
