The only way to fix this is to reboot outlook. I end up doing this 10 time a day. Is there any fix?

For me it makes it worse as it shows all folders are up to date but no new mail shows. Working fine in the cloud as my phone is up to date. Looks like I will have to roll back to Outlook 2011. I can't believe no one from Microsoft has said a word..

[Solved - at least temporarily till a fix is released]

    ...

That's it, Outlook should stay synced now.

This did not work for me. I still get "Sync Pending". Furthermore it doesn't even seem to generate the log files, or, the spot it mentions to look is not the right spot for logs.

Not working for me. Message shows "All folders are up to date" but no message sync. Only works when connected to the same network as Exchange Server or over VPN.

From the Ribbon, Goto Tools -> Sync Errors.

On the window that opens, click on the settings gear at the top right

Select "Turn on Logging for troubleshooting"

    Click OK

Restart Outlook (you will see an annoying prompt each time you start Outlook, select to keep Logging On)

Thanks for this temporary tip. Solved the issue for me
