When I attempt to login to Outlook, the following is displayed:

"Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later."

I have been unable to login for several days now. I have tried to login on many different computers and browsers. Please advise.

thank you for your message on my email i cant access through IE11 and WIN7

    may i suggest the following

Microsoft should be more helpful more smart and more considerate

because Microsoft has admitted that people like me cannot access hotmail.com etc using IE11

then why not communicate your suggestions etc VIA your error page that we all get when we try to log on

DO NOT SEND via email WHEN we can not access our email service via hotmail.com etc

    DOES NOT MAKE any sense!

    so please

MICROSOFT be more considerate and understanding and smarter when trying to communicate to us

the way you can is VIA the ERROR page you display to us when we cannot access those pages!

    so the question is

WHY can we access hotmail.com etc via FIREFOX, mobile or table etc AND NOT IE11?

are you saying that Microsoft can not make its own software work? or not interested in fixing it (as is the norm these days with Microsoft)

Bill Gates has lots to answer for, and need to be a responsible citizen in the corporate world

Hi I know this thread was created in 2012 and the best answer was also from 2012. This is a new 2016 problem lol but none of the answers helped my situation.

I found out this has to do with Security settings of IE so you have to go to Tools- Internet Options - Security (tab) and Lower your security settings because no matter what 1 item I changed nothing helped so after messing with it for an hour I got tired and just lowered the settings from Medium High to Medium and it worked?!

I have No idea why it all of the sudden quit going to Hotmail (or outlook) and gave that red msg. since I never changed anything?

But now I am using IE for my email but don't dare going to other sites. (because of lower sec. set.).

It's funny IE suddenly did that while watching a video on Youtube ? It just would not open Youtube and kept saying there is a problem with y/t Certificate.

(I think maybe a Windows Update changed something?)

The other browsers like Opera Firefox or Chrome don't do any of that... but I had all my passwords account info. etc saved on ie. I lost everything and have to start all over again. (banking, paying bills, shopping etc.).
