I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

If this helps, I got this email all the time. And when I disconnect and reconnect, eventually the emails would return.

What I have done is I have turned on 2-factor authentication on my Google account (and on my Microsoft account because it's a good practice). and that has eliminated the emails ever since.

Yes, you will need your mobile device to assist you into logging into your computer or other device the first time but you can be assured that your account(s) will only be logged in by you.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for your response.

This may be a temporary issue, however if you are facing the issue on a regular interval then could you try removing your Gmail account from your Microsoft account and configure it again.

    Regards,

    Jesinta Rozario

I do as instructed but it only lasts for an undetermined time, i.e., the time between "reconnect to google" emails vary.

So I reconnect, but later I get the email again.

Your answer above has the same "reconnection instructions" as the email which stated that I would need to reconnect to my google account.

So your answer is not very helpful.

But maybe I am doing something that breaks the google connection that I'm not aware of,  If that is the case, please accept my apology.

Happens to me at least once a month. I also find it humorous that all of my emails from Microsoft get sent to 'junk' on outlook.com.
