someone DOES have the same hotmail email address as me, this is a security issue

hi, someone definitely has the same Hotmail email address as me. I have had this address for years. then a few months ago I started receiving information from ebay that was meant for this person. I contacted ebay and they asked this person to change her email which she must of done because I do not receive mail from ebay that's is not intended for me now.  yesterday I received a email from a energy company with this persons name and and energy account  number. I am worried she may be receiving my emails and this may be a security issue? what should I do please.?

    I read again what I put, I cant see where I put someone is using a similar email to mine. I defiantly put someone is using THE EXACT SAME EMAL ADDRESS AS MINE.

    I do not think you are reading what I put.

    It has nothing to do with paypal. or someone miss typing a similar email address as mine. It is about someone using the exact same email address as mine.

    Lets say for arguments sake MY email is email address is removed for privacy.

    When I try to block it, it says "you cant block your own email address".

    It does not say "you cant block a mistyped email address.

    or "you cant block an email address similar to yours"

    it says "you cant block your  OWN email address".

    So yes, I do believe Microsoft can help. And not out of someones control

    I keep getting emails from someone using the exact same email address as me. And I mean exactly the same. When I try to block it, it says "you cant block your own email address". The subject is always the same too,  "[Paypal] Please Complete Your Account".

    Why would I send emails to my self for a service I do not and have never used.

    What has happened to my email?

    What can I do to stop this??

    Believe me.  If you would talk to the other person,  he would say that I am the one who got his email address. He lives in Hungary, I am living in Canada. Somewhere someone made a mistake and allowed him to have the same email address. That simple.  I'm getting his email and his getting mine I'm sure. Only thing that I have this email address for a long time , and this started to happen about 2 or 3 years ago. 

    Try to think of this case as not someone broken into somebody else's email address and doing evil things.  No simply we actually have the same email address.

    This is not someone who hacked my email. The person have the same name and coincidentally using the same email address and Microsoft let him do that. He's not harassing or doing anything bad. simply he using the same email address for his banking, Facebook etc.

     Since you come so close...how is changing my password will do anything?

    sorry. I wanted to send the message to the guy, who said that's impossible.

    Obviously that is very possible to have same email address for multiple guys.

    I just deleted the other persons Facebook account because he won't do anything
