How do I remove ads from Outlook.com

I NEVER WANTED TO CHANGE FROM HOTMAIL BUT NOE THAT IT WAS FORCED UPON ME HOW DO I REMOVE THE VERY ANNOYING ADS TO THE RIGHT OF MY EMAILS AND OBSCURE MY VIEW OF THE WHOLE EMAIL

The ads are how Microsoft makes the money to keep Outlook free.

You can upgrade to Outlook Plus (paid) to be rid of them permanently.

 If you have PLUS and ads please contact the Billing Department.

If you are using Firefox you can use either popup blocker or No-script but neither will reclaim the space the ads take up.

    Rather than spending the $19.99, you could have used a FREE ad blocker.

    I use Webmail Ad Blocker (free). It removes the ads and expands the inbox to reuse the space previously occupied by the ads. There is a version for Firefox and a version for Chrome.

    Agree!  I'm in the process of creating an email with another provider and cancelling my hotmail account that I've had for several years.  Even companies allow users to opt out of receiving unwanted emails.  Shame on you!

    I suggest moving all your other functions, e.g., Homepage to Yahoo or Firefox and don't use connected services from Microsoft.  A few million people doing this will cut the ad revenue substantially. Don't mind advertising but, taking two-thirds of my page with their borders and **** plus pop-ups is ridiculous.  A bunch of third graders that think programming is actually an intellectual pursuit.

    I have been using this ad on for several months with great success. Just waiting for Microsoft to do something stupid and un-consumer friendly  like trying to block this ad on in the future. When or if that happens I will dump them completely, go totally to gmail and just use Apple and Android devices for everything else.  I still have hope that someday Microsoft will wake up be more responsive to the users.
