The ads are how Microsoft makes the money to keep Outlook free.
You can upgrade to Outlook Plus (paid) to be rid of them permanently.
If you have PLUS and ads please contact the Billing Department.
If you are using Firefox you can use either popup blocker or No-script but neither will reclaim the space the ads take up.
I, too, am going to bail out if this is not resolved.
Microsoft taking over Hotmail was a horrible and unfortunate occurrence that brings few positives and loads of negatives . As usual with Microsoft everything has a price. A major reason why I have moved away form a Microsoft platform and to Android and will be converting my email over to Gmail.
i'm sorry your "ears" are so sensitive. you didn't answer my question though. obviously you don't know. why didn't you just say "I don't know" rather than getting so snarky.
The ads make it impossible to print an email. I accept them because they make the product free. But the product is useless if I cannot remove them for printing. Isn't there any way to remove them from the printed page only.
