If you see 16.0.6228.1010, you are good. That alone confirms you're on an Insider build. :-) Do I understand correctly that this only applies to O365 Home, Personal and University users? I have a business subscription (E3) and even several days after enrolling for First Release, I can't find a way to get beyond 16.0.6001.1038. This doesn't make me much of an Insider, and probably explains why I haven't got the badge ...

Hi Steve, Office Insider is only available through the Additional Install Options page from the My Account page as mentioned by Nicholas_W_ in his initial post started on November 13, 2015. It’s not available through any full installer as you have mentioned. Also to let you know that the installation is available only as a click to run which has nothing to do with the version of Windows installed. That alone confirms you're on an Insider build. " You mentioned in an earlier message that this applies to Windows 10. I've installed the Insider version of O365 under Windows 7 and do not see the Feedback option under the File menu and have version 16.0.6001.1038. I elected to download the full installer rather than install via click to run. Did someone distribute the wrong version in the full downloadable installer, or do different versions of Windows get different version numbers or ??? Do I in fact have the Insider version the site told me I was getting or should I ask who at Microsoft gets the invoice for the wasted time? ;- <-- That's my emoji for "Only half joking"

Hey Garth, To check that you're enrolled, go to File > Office Account, and look at the version number under Office Updates. If you see 16.0.6228.1010, you are good. That alone confirms you're on an Insider build. :-) I can't confirm exact dates, but the new update will start rolling out soon, and when that happens, you'll see the new features.
