Outlook search bar moved to the title!?

I do not like the Search bar at the top of the screen …  the old location was just fine!

Me too - can't believe how they have altered Tasks. It's completely stuffed up my way of working. I;ve worked with a Tech for months but no-one seems to know what they have changed, why and what's the current solution.

I wish there was a good alternative.

Thats exactly what happened to me. I was working outlook and it started acting up. I shut it down and restart and apparently i was forcibly sent another update.

I miss the old days of Windows Update and if you wanted downoaidng the patched and service packs when you decided to do it. This is just crazy.

I agree 100% I can’t think of one update in the last two years to outlook that has “improved” anything about the program.

The sad part there really are no alernatives to outlook. 

I just cant imagine this being tested and people saying these riduclous changes are an improvment.

Consider yourself lucky - I have lived with this lame "new" Outlook search for a year already and still loathe every time I have to use it... tried many ways to get old one back including all known registry hacks - no success..
