Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

We sincerely apologize for the experience you had, due to the recent regression!

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

Again, thank you for helping us improve our product!

Thanks!

Lishan

This is exactly my problem.  It was working fine before the update!!!! Microsoft needs to fix this immediately.  On my screen its fine.  My jpeg looks beautiful on the monitor.  It's only when I print it from Powerpoint.  I haven't checked other apps.

    Hi Larry,

    Thank you for the information.

I don't see the same issue here on my end, so we would still like to narrow down the issue:

    1. You mentioned that the effect is random. If this is the case, are the blurry images always the same ones each time you create a new PDF file?
    2. What software are you using to view the PDF?
    3. Please try copying all the slides inside the presentation to a new one, and try to create a PDF file using the new file. Basically, try the process from start to finish on the new version and see if it helps.
    4. Please try getting some sample images that does not contain confidential items and see if you can reproduce it. If you can, provide the screenshot of the results.

    Regards,

    Sheen
