Powerpoint 16.15 (180530) Save as PDF - images are blurry

Even when PDF export quality is set to high - the images on the PPT are blurry when using PDF export.  The images are fine in the PPT itself.

Choose Help>Check for Updates and in that dialog, check Join the Office Insider program to get early access to new releases. Then choose Office Insider Slow for fairly well-tested code or Office Insider Fast for advanced features with more bugs. Don't choose the latter on a computer you use to get work done.

This issue has been fixed in Insider Slow channel since build 16.15 (180701) and in Insider Fast channel since build 16.16 (180702), and it should reach the rest of our users soon. Please update your builds and let us know if the problem is not fully resolved.

    Hi All - really annoying this. One workaround I found whilst we await this to be fixed - open the pres in Google Sheets then save as PDF from there - it will export with decent image quality and seems to be a good job of loading the PPT.

    Hi Vincent,

    To investigate this behavior, could you provide the following information:

    1. Do you mean you choose File>Export to export the presentation as a pdf file?
    2. Please let us know the size of that presentation.
    3. Please confirm whether this behavior occurs with all the presentations. You may create a new file to test.
    4. Is there any special content in that presentation like pictures or video?
    5. Please provide your OS version as well.
