Microsoft Outlook for Mac - IMAP account not behaving

I'm using Outlook for Mac - business - new version

I have 365 business account and 6 imap accounts and 2 Apple Me accounts.

2 of the IMAP accounts are not synching properly for sent and draft email FROM Outlook. It's almost like they're only syncing local sent mail and draft email without sending to the server. If I send or set up a draft in Mac Mail, they sync fine to outlook, but if I do the same in outlook - I don't see them in Mac Mail.

I have the same set up on a MacBook and works fine

This was not an issue until I had to wipe my Mac a set up from new - previously it was fine.

So it seems like it's isolated to my Mac and Outlook, but I don't know hat to look for or where to go to fix it.

I've removed the accounts and added them back in, but the same.

I should add received mail in Junk etc is all fine. If I file email in Outlook in a folder, it syncs ok.

It's just email CREATED in Outlook that isn't synching! How weird, but that may be what someone needs to answer this one for me!

HELP!

    Hi Ron,

I'm having a nearly identical issue. Mac Studio (brand new) and new install of Outlook 16.60. My Exchange email syncs just fine but not my IMAP email. The junk, trash, etc sync...but the inbox doesn't. Very strange.

    Did you find a solution?

    Thank you,

    Tom

Yes, when I change to old, I had to set up again.

Are you suggesting I should change something in the hidden library folder? You've said it's in the Library folder but not where?

When you say you moved the accounts, do you mean you moved the profile file from one Mac to the other?

    Outlook profiles identities

Each Identity is a folder, except that Identities are now called “Profiles” and the Profile folders are not in the Documents folder.

Profiles are folders in the hidden Library folder.

In Finder, press Shift+Command+L to display the hidden library folder.

Hi - yes, only 2 of the 6 imap accounts. Both Macs were using new, 1 worked, 1 didn't. Moved the non working to old, it now works after changing the server mailboxes. New Outlook still doesn't work though.
