Why is my "Notify when available" missing when I click on a user in Teams?

This is what is missing from a user we support.

Hello WilliamHicks6,

The Notify when available feature is not available in the new Teams. Currently, you will need to select a user’s avatar or profile photo anywhere in new Teams to quickly get an overview of their online status, next available calendar slot in Outlook, work hours, local time, or work location either remote or in office.

Thanks,

So we have to keep actively looking to see when the user is available. In other words, there is no longer a "notify when available" feature. It was removed and that's that.

Thanks for posting the links Microsoft is obviously not monitoring this forum, but hopefully they will look at he "Feature Request" in the feed back portal.

Really grinds my gears that in Windows 10 / 11 Server 2019, there are "NEW" applications and preference panes, that actually take AWAY functionality, like you said did they MISS this in testing?

If it's a Privacy issue, then at least make it an option I can turn on in my tenant!?!?! Like MANY others I have had to mess with to get Teams to work. We are a small employee owned company so we are not forced to comply with any SOCKS regulations or anything, so we should be allowed to just function as a nice mid-sized non-publicly traded company!
