On Android, all of a sudden, Teams repeatedly says, "Teams Needs Permission" "If you want to place a call or join a meeting, go to settings and allow Phone permission to Teams."
It then takes you to Android Settings for the Teams app, and the "phone" permission IS allowed.
I've rebooted.
Cleared cache.
Cleared data
Reset the database.
Left developer preview.
Reinstalled Teams
Left the Beta and done all of the above over and over.
It isn't honoring the permissions that are set. So I can't join any meetings. Please advise.

Update for my install at least
I had 2 Google Play profiles (personal and work), only 1 had the Beta turned on which I missed
Once I turned it off it would not even let me download using that profile
Once I figured that out, I made sure I was downloading from the non-Beta profile
Then everything works on the work tablet
As of this morning my personal phone is okay also
I did not update or install anything
If I can figure out any more info, I will post it
I have re-installed and have granted all permissions but, again it asking give phone permission for accepting call in mobile.
I have the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S21+. Reinstalled, revoked and granted premissions, looked in app for pemissions.
I have the same problem on Samsung S9+
I even reset my mobile and the app still doesnt take any calls because of the permissions.
