What happened to the spellcheck feature on the new Teams??

I have notice that the spell check seems to be broken on the new Teams version. The incorrectly spelled word still gets underlined in red, and a suggestion list populates as it used to, but the suggestions are ridiculous. A perfect example is the word "definitely".

You’ve tried “what” multiple times and I’m “incorrect” about what?

Please read some of this conversation. The new Teams does do spellcheck. There was an issue with the OS level spellcheck, which Teams uses - on Windows 11. The issue affected both new & old Teams on Windows 11. Make sure Windows 11 is up to date then sign out / sign back into Teams and it should work. If it doesn't - find the post about clearing your Teams cache and it should work just fine.

had to exit Teams, clear it's cache and then sign back in... annoyingly worked with one Teams account, but as soon as I put my 2nd account in the redline went away again. :(
