Is there a way to eliminate Subject line in a Teams post?

    ...and it gets worse...

    This morning, links are opening in Edge even though my default browser is Chrome. In settings, under "Files and Links," you can choose between Edge and Default Browser, but there is no way to save your choice, so Teams continues to open links in Edge. It's behavior like this that supports arguments in anti-trust cases. I'll be uninstalling Edge now, thank you.

    I totally agree, get rid of the subject line, it just slows you down

    Another vote to get rid of this: subject lines are for emails... DMs are supposed to be quick. This has been confusing for my team and is a real pain.

    Lisa,

    You're missing the point. We get that it isn't required in order to post. The issue we're expressing is it is visible by default and thus you can't just immediately type and it enter to post. You have to move the cursor to tab to the "body' now AND to "send" now, thus the extra steps now required.
