Teams: Disable New Feature Popups?

This needs to be fixed. It is unacceptable that Microsoft removed so many customization settings in the "new and improved" teams like this. I DO NOT WANT 'TIPS' and POPUPS for new features or suggestions I don't care about. Every time the new teams starts, it is telling me about **** I don't care and don't want. And even while using, it is popping up tips while I am trying to do other things and interrupting the workflow.

This is nothing about our local IT organization. It is 100% Microsoft forcing these features with no way to customize the settings.

Just like the new chat popups are in the wrong place on the screen with no way to correct/move it to a different spot. So I had to entirely disable chat and notifications or they keep showing up 1/3 of the way up my display instead of in the bottom right corner.

I am in agreement - this stuff is terrible and needs to go. This is an enterprise level application my company is paying a lot of money for. I don't want to see Microsoft garbage constantly popping up while I'm trying to do my job. It's distracting and ruins my productivity.

I think the worst thing about these pop ups is that I've been getting one a day since Teams was updated... New "feature" each time. No ability to turn off.

I haven't read a single one.

If you need to highlight new features a single pop up after update would do. How many more days of this nonsense?

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately this does not address the issue of concern.

The popups I am referring to are advertisements by MS for new Teams features, similar to the screenshot attached (from https://office365itpros.com/2023/10/13/irritating-teams-pop-ups/). They block the UI and are disruptive to an efficient workflow.

I have tried to disable all notifications, but they still appear.

Oh, Microsoft, you've outdone yourself with the "new and improved" Teams – improved my foot! Removing customization settings? Are you trying to set a record for the most eye rolls? I'm drowning in unwanted 'tips' and popups like I'm at a bad magic show. Abracadabra, I don't care!

Every time Teams starts, it's like a friend who won't stop talking about their vacation – I never asked, and I'm not interested! And during work, these popups are the party crashers of my workflow. Can't we just send them to voicemail?

And the chat popups? It's like they're playing hide and seek on my screen – in all the wrong places. I had to disable chat and notifications because they were staging a rebellion 1/3 of the way up my display. Not cool, Microsoft. I didn't sign up for a surprise party – fix this tech circus, pronto! 🎩✨
