New Teams: Camera Settings Gone

Hello

Under Teams Classic - there used to be a number of camera settings under Settings > Devices > Camera such as Zoom/Pan/Tilt. Those settings no longer appear, to my knowledge, in New Teams. Am I missing something or did this feature not carry over?

Also, the webcam I am using, a Poly P5, has local software installed but those zoom/pan/tilt settings have never carried over to Teams (Classic or New).

Any advice? Did this feature disappear forever or am I missing where it is?

    Really frustrating feature to lose. All my other apps apply the the webcam settings I make in the Logitech app. Teams is the only one that does not apply the changes. Then salt in the wound is new Teams has removed existing functionality that would let me zoom in. Please bring it back.

    Hi everyone,

    Here's an alternative that kinda worked for me.

    My organisation is also switching to 'New' Teams and the colour balance is all wrong on my Logitech Webcam (I look like a tomato). And whilst I do like tomatoes, I don't like looking like one in meetings (thanks Microsoft). And like so many of us I am also unable to install other apps to alter advanced camera settings (in my case the saturation setting).

    So, I just use Teams inside Chrome instead. Yes, I am still unable to manage advanced camera settings, although for me the colour balance is MUCH better in Chrome. Hopefully this post helps some people out there. Oh I'm also unable to add my own personal virtual background, but that's ok, my travel pics make my coworkers jealous anyway :P

    Just adding on for more support to incorporate the old Teams camera settings into new Teams. I won't fully adopt new Teams until this is added!

    Good to know - although that is a "workaround" as opposed to a fix! It would be good to see Microsoft put those controls back in the "New" version of Teams.

    Thank you for the tip, but when I extracted the ffmpeg file, at first I could not find the .exe file but then took a closer look and I had downloaded the code instead. I have now found the correct .exe file.

    I tried to write a bat file, but I don't think I got it quite right.

    @echo off

    cd "C:\Users\OneDrive - Adobe\Documents\LAP\ffmpeg files\ffmpeg-master-latest-win64-gpl\bin>ffmpeg -f dshow -show_video_device_dialog true -i video="Logitech Webcam C925e""

    pause

    Is this the correct way? Any guidance from you guys on how to correct this bat file would be very helpful!
