Why is the "NEW" Teams so horrible??

Within the last month or so we go the pop up to try the "new" Teams... The new APP is having so many issues!! We use it for conference calls, and myself and others are having issues where the notifications are not showing, or when invited to a meeting it won't let you "join". I keep having audio (microphone & speaker) issues which I NEVER had previously. I really DO NOT like it. I've switched back to the older version for now. I simply refuse to keep dealing with all these NEW issues with the NEW version! :( It's simply horrible!

Can't transfer calls to and from my work phone. Can't select between Contacts and chats. Can't pin to favorites. Can't maintain a call. Quality is worse, Chat option does not appear during calls to send links or other info.

Just a bunch of "Cants". Entire enterprise switching back to Clasic.

Guys, the New Teams is instantly worse. I can no longer see my calendar, chat, ebot options, etc. entire sets of functionality are gone.

what are you doing? agree with other posts, it's slower and more problematic.

Everything in NEW teams is slow, it uses consistently more memory than previous version of teams. Its slow between clicks and takes its sweet time bringing up each chat you click on. New teams removed saved messages from older versions of teams. Oh, but in 2 weeks, we'll all be forced to use this mess of a program with no options to revert. Gold medal microsoft, you win the gold medal....

Thanks, Micros**k for providing yet more evidence why you shouldn't be allowed to purchase other products and rebrand them. Its evident you are incapable of creating anything on your own that's halfway decent, and anytime you change or update any product you consistently make it worse than it was before.

Do not ever buy products like Discord, Slack, etc... all you'll do is ruin them. Microsoft is like the student that still gets an F on the test even though they copied the straight A student's answers.

I had this same issue on a new device where I solely had the New Teams installed. After I installed Classic Teams as well, the plug-in reappeared in Outlook for me despite only using New Teams. It seems that the plugin is still tied to Classic for whatever reason.
