Issue still persists and is really annoying. Teams/Win 11, left/right arrows on both laptop keyboard and wireless keyboard don't work

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work? (Up and Down arrows work normally.)
1. Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop
2. What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external
3. Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before
4. Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

My arrow key problems have been greatly reduced! Whether it is due to MS updates, or subconsciously adapting my behavior- I can't be sure. I can say that MS has tinkered with how they toggle word-processing features, which they used to pretend they could mix directly into the chat box. For example, creating bullet lists --used to be-- possible directly in the chat box, without activating the button for additional text formatting. NOW, after creating a single such bullet point, the chat does not offer an automatic second bullet. Clicking the button to enter additional word-processing now acts more like MS-Word, and more smoothly- including properly creating sequential bullets. It seems to me that they are cleaning up/undoing some separation between quick chatting behavior, and word-processing behavior.
I suspect MS learned some embarrassing things that are now being cleared up in moping silence- for some of us, at least. Try toggling the button that allows changes to fonts, bullets and other word processing, and then toggle back. Does that resolve the failing left and right arrow behaviors?
unbelievably I also have the same issue and no its not my keyboard ( the keys work find in other MS apps ) no i'm not daft, and yes I am sure I'm pressing the correct left and right keys. I'm fed up with this it works for a few days then breaks and the only way out is to stop and restart or reboot the PC. if anyone from MS every reads this please just get it fixed. I cant believe its not annoying you too.
Crazy is not that it is not fixed -- "crazy" is that MS has no balls to accept responsibility or even to acknowledge the major-inconvenience issue!
And this "best answer" by a "volunteer just like others" in which he "advises" to literally clean out all YOUR stuff to make MS stuff "work", as usual -- that is a damn shame, MS!!
Quelle surprise! :(
