Left & right arrow keys don't move the cursor (in teams)

ft and right arrow keys have no effect in TEAMS BUT left-arrow + CTRL moves left one word, and right-arrow + CTRL moves right one word. So it is clear the arrow keys on the keyboard are functioning and sending signals to the computer. I also tried my laptop built in keyboard & the number pad. All have the same effect. What could be making the arrows by themselves not work?  (Up and Down arrows work normally.)

1.      Is it a laptop or desktop computer?
Laptop

2.      What is the make and model of the keyboard?
HP laptop keyboard & logitech external

3.      Was it working fine earlier?
Yes at most an hour before

4.      Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
No. Maybe I inadvertently hit some hot key?

Got the same issue. Dell laptop plus external MS USB keyboard. Got noticeably worse over the past week. Switch to any other app, left and right work fine. Switch back, arrows don't work but CTRL-Left and CTRL-Right are fine. Definitely not either of the keyboards.

Keeping an eye out for correlation with Excel and Word usage. I also had someone tell me they thought it was related to spell check in Teams when it puts a red line under your mistakes. Have not been able to verify that either, wondering if he was just having a dig at my typing skills.

Been using a lot of CTRL arrows with Backspace and Del in editing as a workaround. Will have to try SHIFT arrows as well but if you can't get rid of the selection, probably no good.

Has anyone raised this as a bug?

    D. Ward's workaround woul be much better than restarting Teams, but unfortunately it didn't work for me (on Windows 10, version 1.4.00.26376 (64 bits)).

Which version of office. I get this problem but excel does not appear to be the cause for me.

I am having the same issue. Guess its a bug, happens at random times as far as I have seen. Restarting Teams seems to solve it until it happens again. Hopefully we get it patched soon.
