Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

    So, can we conclude it's a Teams-issue and not a MacOS-issue of a WindowsOS-issue??

Since I first posted my query (not to jinx it), so far I am able to connect to my Airpods with no problems. To be clear, there were some adjustments to my environment:

    • There have been several MacOS updates, I am now on 11.4
    • Teams version is 1.4.00.11161
    • I have several other BT devices connected: (Logitech keyboard and Mouse)
    • I have my iPhone and an Android device just beside me.

I just make sure I don't fidget with my iPhone or hold it up near me while on call so the AirPods doesn't hand-off the connection from the MacBook to the phone.

It seems improving but will let you know.

Just so you know, today is Wednesday 2 June... are Microsoft engineers still working with Apple developers or they got into a fight?

Apple AirPods Pro still have the same issue with Teams, only the mic is working.

    Sincerely,

    Stefan

It’s so frustrating that this haven’t been fixed yet by Microsoft/Apple. I went ahead and bought the Jaba link 370, and it works quite well for my windows 10 laptop. See https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dmTeHFmhEBo
