Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

This really needs to be fixed, so many people have airpods and use Teams for business calls. Not acceptable from Microsoft and Apple, please start working together

This is unfortunate.  Part of the Microsoft Monopoly; not going to give Apple users any support to allow use of Apple equipment.

This thread is referring to iPods but it's not just an Apple problem. I have similar problems with SoundPeats and Techtronics TWS Bluetooth earbuds.

Like others have pointed out, these problem earbuds may work as headphones while using your onboard mic. That's what I do with a Surface Pro tablet.

The strange thing is, I have a set of Shure SE215 BT2 earbuds (wired Bluetooth) that work fine with Teams as a headset, mic and headphone.

I've been using my AirPods Pro for 8 weeks seamlessly on Teams on iMac Mac OS and HP laptop Win10 - today my AirPods no longer function normally on Team ...  it doesn't recognise the "Headset" capability

The biggest surprise to me was when I tried my son’s Huawei pods and worked seamlessly with trams whereas the airpods did NOT !!!!!!!
