Microsoft Teams and Apple Airpod compatability

Hi - I use Microsoft Teams regularly (many times a day) to conduct business meetings.  I very recently bought a pair of Apple Airpods (Pro) as my old plug-in headphones stopped working after several years of service.  I run Teams on my Macbook Pro laptop.

Unfortunately, I can't get the Airpods working with Teams.  People in the meeting can hear me perfectly, but I can't hear them.  I'd appreciate it if somebody could offer some advice on how to get this configured.

Thanks.

I don't think anyone is concerned about AirPod support on Windows, rather on IOS devices (the largest use case in my company).

That doesn't help for the "noise cancelling" aspect of the airpods, does it?

Any update on this? It's been 1.5 years.....with everyone working remotely. Just seems like bad development at this point.

Ok folks, I have received many replies to my original post and not one was constructive or helpful to the problem I identified. So good luck everyone with the ongoing venting. Signing off.

Yes. I've found the same experience on Windows 10, except with the latest Teams update when I lose connection to the Airpods, Teams crashes and I am unable to switch back to the internal mic and speaker. I have to completely restart my computer.

Incredibly frustrating. This is core functionality that needs to be fixed ASAP.
