Bluetooth device keeps getting disconnected during Teams meetings

Hi,

I use the wireless JBL Endurance Sprint Headphones to connect to meetings on my Teams app on my work laptop.

This was working fine until a few days ago. But, from the past few days my headphones gets disconnected every few seconds.

This is terribly agonizing - I can't hear the audio and get tuned out from  the conversation. I need to turn on my headphones again every time it gets disconnected. I end up losing parts of the conversation and it gets extremely awkward frequently requesting the other person to repeat what they said.

I initially thought it might be my headphones, but it works really well with the same laptop on other applications. Works fine on other devices too.

I tried updating driver software for my Bluetooth device. Looks like it's up-to-date.

I have no idea how to fix this.

Similar questions had answers to uncheck the "Disable bluetooth device for power savings" under Power Management Tab ( Device Manager -> Bluetooth-> Adapter-> Properties). I don't see this tab anymore

Please help fix this ASAP.

I just had this issue too... It's not Microsoft , it is the JBL Endurance Sprint headphones ... they have an auto-off "feature" that is not compatible with meetings. Only when Playing something (music, audio book etc) will they stay on for more than 5 mins. Terrible

I have the same issue with Bose Soundlink Bluetooth headphones. MS Teams kicks the headset out every 10 minutes if I use the App on my computer. It works fine when using MS Teams and the same headset with my Android phone, though.

MS Teams is the only application that is causing this problem on my computer. All other meeting platforms work well in combi with my headset.

I just wsnt to say, i might have found the solution

I was facing the same problem until i realised that i had two devices that was paired with my taotronics before. And everytime im on my teams chat, my taotronics would jump to the nondesired device.

So what i did was just to ensure the nondesired device forgets taotronics or its bluetooth is switched off.

    Hope it helps.

I am having same problem. My bluetooth headphone gets disconnected if I am idle for more than 5 minutes(here disconnect means device is still connected through bluetooth but others can't hear me and I can't hear them). It only happens with Teams and Skype. Please help.

Is this also happening in the Web version of Teams? https://teams.microsoft.com/

Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Teams?
