Hiding Teams Control Task Bar (at Bottom of Teams Screen) During a Meeting (So Screenshot of Shared Screen is Clean)

Anyone know if there's a way to hide the default Teams meeting control task bar at the bottom of the screen so I can take screenshots of what is being shared/displayed on the without that in the way? Thanks.

Also, Teams isn't a "Category" option when I'm posting this. Nor is it listed in the "Office Topic" while "Skype" still is. Might want to update that since Teams has been released. As such, I'm having to post in "Unknown/Other".

Based on your description, you want to hiding the Teams control task bar (like below picture). I just tested this on my side, the task bar will auto hiding after you move your mouse outside of the sharing screen for a while. Could you please test this on your side to see if this works for you?

    Hi Jennifer, 

    Adding to your solution, an alternative found by accidental discovery.

    Click  on any non-selectable part of the Teams control task bar.

    The task bar will disappear, but any subsequent movement of the mouse causes the task bar to reappear.

    So before making any mouse movements  Right-Click the mouse and the copy option will appear.

    You can now move your mouse away from the window, and the task bar will stay hidden, until you move focus back to that window.

    The copy option will eventually auto-hide but in a shorter time frame than the task bar.

    Enjoy the result, and share.

    Hi Jennifer,

    I'm using the Linux preview, and this behavior does not happen.  I was trying to read some data on a screen a student shared with me a few minutes ago, and he was using windows, and it behaved just as you say, but under Linux (Ubuntu 19.10 using gnome desktop) I could not figure out how to make it go away.  Finally the student moved the data to the top of his screen, and I could read it.

    Is there another way to move it?

    Hi everyone, 

    Thanks to all those who replied to this post. It obvious by now that we are not going to get a reply from Microsoft. 

    I found a way round this issue, it is obviously not the perfect solution. When I was presenting this morning I found that if I zoom out to round 60% or 50 % The bar gets smaller but at the same time the presentation slide becomes larger. It is best to do that by holding the ctrl button down while turning the mouse's wheel backward. Hope it works with you guys. Have safe days ahead.

    There needs to be a function key to get rid of this task bar!!!!  Its keeping me from seeing important points during a presentation.
