So I keep having an issue where people are losing network connection while on teams meeting while using a dock. We have Lenovo USB-C docks, but when you are connected to a teams meeting with a network cable plugged into the dock. It drops the meeting, it could be 5 mins into the meeting, 20 mins into the meeting. I cannot find a connection to the length of time it gives you online before you drop.
It only happens to you if you have a USB-C Lenovo Dock, plugged into a Lenovo laptop, with a network cable plugged into it. If you pulled the cable and work off wifi it NEVER has a problem.
I have done dock driver updates, dock firmware update.
Any ideas? has anyone else had this problem?

We did tests again. We are pretty sure that this ethernet port in usb-c DOCK is getting overheat and after that issue occurs. Port is getting down sometimes after 20 or 40 minutes of Teams call. Most cases when camera is on and port is strong utilized- copying big files on LAN in that time. That was conditions of test environment....
Regards!
4 users with the same issue in our organization and at least a dozen of our managed services clients continuously having issues. Mainly seems to be during Teams calls and it happens like clockwork at around 20 minutes in.
We have exact same problem here with Thinkpad T490 and T590 with USB-C Gen 2 docking.
It's driving me nuts!
So far so good. With others in this forum dealing with this issue, any of you using HDMI between the monitor(s) and Dock?
I connected an HDMI < DVI cable between the dock and the monitor and I have the problem too.
