So I keep having an issue where people are losing network connection while on teams meeting while using a dock. We have Lenovo USB-C docks, but when you are connected to a teams meeting with a network cable plugged into the dock. It drops the meeting, it could be 5 mins into the meeting, 20 mins into the meeting. I cannot find a connection to the length of time it gives you online before you drop.
It only happens to you if you have a USB-C Lenovo Dock, plugged into a Lenovo laptop, with a network cable plugged into it. If you pulled the cable and work off wifi it NEVER has a problem.
I have done dock driver updates, dock firmware update.
Any ideas? has anyone else had this problem?

Same issue here. Elitebook 840 G6 in combination with dual philip243B monitors.
If I find a acceptable workaround, will udpate
So good to find this discussion. I am having the same problem.
Have tried three ThinkPads (a 570 and 2 590's) and 2 different Lenovo docks - types 40AS and 40AF.
All combinations drop the Teams call - with one other party on the call, or multiple.
Running 0 or 1 or 2 monitors over HDMI - makes no difference.
Have updated firmware on both docks, ThinkPads. Am current with Windows 10 and Office365 updates.
After call drops, computer has lost Internet connection and have to reboot the computer to get a network connection back.
Only solution is to plug the LAN cable directly into the computer and skip the dock entirely.
Anybody figured this out already?
I have,
It’s happened on all hardware models:
X280, T480, X390 either/or using ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C (40AF) and/or ThinkPad Gen 2 USB-C (40AS)
Docks and laptops all have firmware updates. It’s driving users (and me) insane
Hey N. Cox-
Have you done the firmware update to the dock? It may not help, but worth a shot. It did not help us.
