In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.
I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!
Thanks

My daughter has a MacBook Air, brand new. We bought it for eLearing. She's logging on to Teams and she can see the presenter, and the presenter can see her, but she can't see any other of her classmates. We have tried the web app and desktop app. In both versions she cannot see her classmates. This is so frustrating.
What I have noticed now and several changes that didn't work is that after a fresh install the first time I can share but it stops and if my counterpart shares a screen, I can not see it at all! (It all happens in the Teems for Mac)
The problem I am facing persists in full screen and non full screen.
Also it shows no internet connection while I am connected and working in several applications online.!!!!!! ( I have checked all my firewalls and they are whitelisting the Teams and I even tried disabling the firewalls and didn't work.
I am puzzled how come this problem still persists considering how usually quick Microsoft acts!!!
I have tried every solutions that our friends here are recommending and non seems to be working.
I really hope Microsoft seriously does something soon.
It's the box that comes up when you click on "system preferences" then "security & privacy"
If you unlock that the bottom left corner, then make sure all the teams permissions where required are ticked and then leave that box open and doing the screen sharing in teams when not in full screen mode, it should hopefully work like it did for me.
