In MS Teams , I cannot share my Desktop / Application Windows. Teams alerts me that it needs Screen Recording permissions, although I have actually granted these before, and the regarding boxes in System Preferences are already ticked.
I have the newest version of Catalina and Teams. Nevertheless I don´t know exactly which applications are blocking the Teams screen sharing and why., I have followed all suggestions such as using the online version, same issue occurs, removing VPNs and rebooting and updating apps and the mac itself......I use Teams constantly for work and this is causing me a major hassle!
Thanks

I had this problem, too. I never got an error message when I tried to share my screen, just the 'spinning wheel of death' that never stopped. It was corrected by going into system preferences and checking the Screen Recording box in Team ON.
Thanks.

I have the same issue. I'm unable to "allow" teams under the screen recording privacy tab (The microsoft teams icon is unable to be selected at all). Echoing others...this is indeed super frustrating given that my company has now transitioned to teams and it is unusable for some of us.
Thank you thank you thank you! Was getting ready to go into beast mode with my Mac for not being able to screen share. Going into system preferences and checking the box for MS Teams on Screen Recording fixed the inability to share a screen or doc, etc. Appreciate the tip.
I experienced the same problem while teaching one of my courses online. The easiest fix is to download MacOS 11.0.1 Big Sur. This upgrade solved my problem.
If you are using an older MacOS open Preferences > Privacy and Security > Display > ensure MS Teams is checked. DO NOT CLOSE the preferences window, leave it open on your screen. I was able to screen share as usual.
Oh interesting - I did not realize there was a new OS. Will try that! Someone else also mentioned leaving the preferences window open, so will look into that too. Thanks!
