MS Teams - Finding out who removed a participant from a meeting call

Title pretty much explains what I want to do. Some people, including myself, were kicked from a call and we want to find out who did. I searched for a while but couldn't find out how to do it so now I am here. Maybe I missed something.

Hi Kerim,

Thank you for post and the request.

For this issue, in teams meeting, other participants can remove or mute other members if they are willing to. Except for the meeting organizer, you can't remove the organizer.

We are sorry current there is no setting and configuration to set permission for the participant who allowed to remove participants or doing kind of things. We recommend you could post your requests or any related topics at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/ and post your concern. We believe the request will be notified by the related teams and hope this new features will coming soon.

    I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM , WHILE CONDUCTING THE CLASSES WITH STUDENTS , EVEN THOUGH THE SETTINGS OF MEETING SCHEDULED IS KEPT ONLY ME UNDER OPTION  WHO IS THE PRESENTER . 

    STILL DURING CLASSES ANY STUDENT REMOVE OTHER STUDENTS OR PUT ON HOLD. 

    PLZ LET US KNOW WHAT SETTING CAN PREVENT STUDENT TO REMOVE OTHER PARTICIPANTS .

    Those are some good options. As an admin I would also like the ability to control these settings at a user profile/meeting policy level. E.g. all users with student profile should not be able to remove participants or always join as attendees unless this is overridden by the host during the meeting.

    As I go through the thread, I now see it as a shortcoming from the MS Teams side.

    The suggestion should be incorporated wherein the Host in informed via a log of who removes/ kicks out whom from the meeting.

    Let the Host be the judge of removal actions.

    Additionally, a pop up could be generated for the Host to approve this removal, which can be approved/ declined.

    There is a setting to hide the Mute and Remove Button which can restrict members to only see these two options only for them and not for others.

    1. Schedule your meeting as usual.
    2. Go to meeting> Click on Meeting Options. (It will require you to login in teams in a browser)
    3. There is a field 'Who can Present'. For this, choose value as 'Only me'

    It will hide share, mute, remove.

    and you are done.
