i am unable to get the background settings in microsoft teams

Dear Team ,

 I am using the latest Teams app in my windows 10 laptop. During the meeting for the video I am unable to get the background setting to select a background for my video. Request your help .

    Hello MichalMarhevka this is a very annoying problem. Before I join a meeting that someone else is running I start MSTeams on my PC and check that I can customise the background, two weeks ago I did this and it worked fine but Friday when I went to join a meeting I forgot to run my version first and when I joined the meeting the option was missing. after the meeting I ran my version on my PC and I was able to change the background. Well all I can suggest is run your version on your PC and see what happens ---- let me know

    Hello,

    I realy dont understand, how this function can be gone. Just like that. I am very strong 6 hour a day user of teams, but now it is gone. 

    And nobody knows what is going on?

    I have to wonder if Microsoft know the answer, but don't want to say.

    It could be that if if you don't pay for a proper subscription then this facility is silently removed...

    Hi Roselyne just joined a meeting on Friday and I was able to change my backgrounds no problem. 

    Firstly run your Teams program and click to join then check you can change your background if you can then shut it down and join the meeting if it run by someone else it should work. 

    If your Teams program doesn`t let you change the background try upgrading your program
