Hello all, as per the title description it was allw orking fine until latest days. When I share my full desktop in teams, other people sees a black screen, but sharing a single application works.

I've tried with the web app and it works fine, it's the local installation that is not working.

I've already tried to reinstall Teams and cleared all the cache but issue persist.

Anyone can help me out? it's driving me nuts

Thanks

Carlo

Hi guys, I've a black screen too (only sharing desktop. with apps it's ok). I solved downgraded vga resolution. My HP 34" works at 3440x1440, but to share all desktop with others, I need to put 1920x1080. Now works fine

    Same here. Widescreen Dell U3419.

Actually on Skype for Business I have the very same issue. both running on my Desktop computer and on a Lenovo Laptop, both connected to the Dell. On the Lenovo I can move all windows to the Laptop's screen which i want to present.

But thanks for the hint with reducing the screen resolution. not great, but better than always sharing a new window when switching between apps that i want to show.

hope they fix that soon too.

yes, because it's the widescreen resolution that does Teams does not digest...

was working than MS broke something with an update. Tehy say fix coming soon, but last time I saw This is coming soon" was on the option to add more than 4 people in the webcam view... and it was from 2016 :D

Hope they will REALLY fix it "soon"....

I have a 5120x1440 monitor, and I can share my destktop (although it's a horrible result for people so I don't), but I can no longer share specific windows.  Rather, I can share them, but most of them are black now.  Of 8 windows open on my desktop, 2 can be shared normally, the other 6 are all black boxes and that's what the users see as well.  This used to work correctly.  I'm on the fast ring of Windows Insider Preview and I think it could be related to a build from a couple months back, but I'm not sure.  At any rate, this problem started a couple months ago.
