Can't link existing plan in Planner to Teams

I just noticed this myself and wonder if I didn't have this problem before until now.

I, too, created a plan outside of Teams. In my case I did it through a Web browser (still don't understand why there isn't a desktop app for planner like there is for other activities). When I click on the drop-down carrot to link an existing plan, it won't drop down and show me choices. It seems stuck.

Looks like this has been going on for a very long long time.

How long does a problem have to exist in Microsoft Answers before Microsoft replies to the problem? I didn't have a problem before, but now I'm one of several people who are experiencing this same problem. Don't call this website Answers.microsoft.com if Microsoft is not willing to provide an answer. If you keep this up you could lose a lot of people to Zoho or another platform.

My team at work has a plan that was created in Planner.  We now want to also start using Teams, but we are unable to link the existing plan to Teams.  When we try to add a Planner tab to a channel, we get the option to "Use an existing plan from this team" or create a new plan, but there's no option to link to an already existing plan in Planner.  Does anyone know how to do this, or can you only link to plans that were created in Teams?

Same issue, very surprised this is still an issue. I though MS were trying to encorage people in by using To-Do and planner and then into teams and projects etc.

But the platforms dont seem to have been designed this way.

I created a plan in planner then tried to add it to a Team - no luck as not recognised as an existing plan. So then I added it from the LHS menu and it created its own Team when all Inwanted was a Channel!! VERY FRUSTRATING.

 I presume we have to start everything in Teams?

These sortbof issues i’d expect in a small Tech start up company - not from MS!

Exact same problem.  It didn't give me an option when I created the plan in planner to link to an existing team, so I added the members that were in an existing team and created the plan.  Went to Teams page and plan wouldn't come up in existing plans list.

It appears by adding people in planner you create a group, not a team, and this is more related to outlook and sharepoint, than teams.  Not so seamless.

Have the same problem, need to stay in planner. But the existing plan from planner before using Teams appears in Microsoft ToDo on OSX and iOS. On the other side the plans created in Teams appear in Planner and Todo.

Seems to be a bug in Teams !

Same problem - Any update ? We are in process to migrate our users to E3 license to link every program. Have we wait to see if finally works or not? Thx.
