There's a more permanent way to sign in to Microsoft Teams. If you're having trouble completing the process, talk to your IT admin"
Our company has been using Teams for a while, it works very well for me until today. I can't sign in Teams desktop in my computer after I upgraded my OS from Win7 to Win10. But the funny part is that Teams web and Teams in my Phone(android) are still working very well. The desktop Teams feedbacks with error code: 0xCAA30194, which is attached below. Can anyone help with it? Thanks in advance.

I faced the same login issue with MS Team desktop client, with error code - caa30194
Uninstalled , the couple of reset done - nothing worked. Finally change the compatibility mode:
- Right click MS Teams app icon and open the 'Properties' window.
- Under 'Compatibility' tab, check the 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and select Windows 8
- Click Apply and Click OK.
This helps to resolved my teams issue. :)
Hope this can help you too.
Same here, changing compatibility mode is the only way that works for me.
I get this same issue with every 365 app (I can use the web based versions for each but they often miss functionality of the main apps).
It seems to be some kind of issue getting through to or response from the online microsoft login service (as its after checking the username but before asking for the pw).
I am a little disappointed with the response from Microsoft on this one as its their desktop O/S, their Office 365 and their online logon service. It's clearly not just an one off issue with one user.
I expect more from MS tbh.
Uninstalled Teams, deleted all Teams folders from %appdata%, removed all Teams references in the registry, restarted and reinstalled with AV off and still exactly the same.
Tried logging in with my personal 365 account and with my work one and just the same after entering username (email address) and clicking next, get th 404 message (ie before it even asks for password).
I can log in to webapp version of Teams or any other Office app but try and use the desktop version and I get this issue (the Teams one is simpler, less information but still 404)
Hi there, i do have the same issue to some of my customers. Tried everything i saw on internet and posts but nothing solve the issue.
User is still unable to log on Teams from desktop, and it's the only desktop app impacted.
Any solution for this?
Kind regards,
Nicolas
