Chats not refreshing / showing latest messages in microsoft teams

For some reason all of a sudden I cannot see any new messages in the chat during class on my laptop. The messages appear on my mobile but they arnt coming in the chat on my PC. Please help me the chat is very vital for my classes

Yes. This is what we see. Clearing the cache updates all versions, but the Mobile and Browser versions update themselves without clearing the cache.

So far the survey shows that most users (about 70%) do not see this issue at all, though they are using the same versions as the ones who do see the issue.

All are on Windows 10.

All are using both Mobile and Desktop.

None are using the browser version.

    You have to quit and restart Teams after every "server/organisation change" (the selection at the top right, by the profile picture).
    That's really annoying.

    Dear Microsoft Team can you please do some thing about this Bug!!!! It's getting worse and more annoying every day. If you need someone who can test something on his PC, please contact me and I am happy to help you as long as we can solve this problem.

    Same here; Chat is not updating anymore or sometimes after a whylie. Don't know exactly why. Deleted the cache, reinitiated Teams.. but no luck so far..Only temporary solution to get some updates is to close Teams and to reopen it.
