MS Teams Crashes when using a camera

I am experiencing regular crashes of MS teams when i enable either the internal or an external camera. 

The separate camera app works fine as does camera capabilities in other video apps such as zoom.

am running win 10

    Just adding that I have the same issue with the hope that MS take notice and work on a fix. As soon as I try and enable video, Teams crashes. Works fine in web version of Teams and in other apps.

    I found a work around that works when using Canon DSLR cameras as a webcam. Using a Canon 100D.

    Creating a Virtual Webcam with Obs Studio.

    First you need to Install Obs Studio. Available for download here: https://obsproject.com/download

    Then install the Obs Virtualcam add on from here: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-virtualcam.949/

    Then follow the steps to create a vitual cam:

    1. Select Tools -> VirtualCam in the main OBS Studio window
    2. Press the Start button, then close the dialog
    3. Open your program (Zoom, Hangouts, Skype, etc.) and choose OBS-Camera as your webcam

    Don't forget to start the webcam in Obs.

    Having said that this issue needs to be addressed in Teams.

    Updated Teams to version 1.3.00.30866, and this crashes every time using Canon EOS Webcam Utility with an M50.

    Skype, Zoom, OBS, work flawlessly.

    Uninstalled Teams, found a previous version 1.3.00.15561, and this works without any issues, with the exact same camera setup.

    I will not post the link, but if you are desperate as I was, and NEED this for your job, you can Google 1.3.00.15561.
