Bluetooth Headset not working with teams.

I have a pair of Bluetooth Skullcandy Hesh 3 Headphones, and they have 2 connections with my laptop.

1)Hesh 3 Stereo

2)Hesh 3 Hands-Free AG Audio

When I use Hands free AG Audio, there is some static disturbance. When watching videos, stereo option gives great sound quality but for some reason it doesn't give any sound during a meeting in teams. In device settings during a meeting, once I choose Hesh 3 Stereo, the voice just stops.

Hopefully good news for all of us: Microsoft announced that the Windows 10 21H2 update will have some major bluetooth improvements.

In the latest preview builds, we’ve seen at least two big changes. The first new feature is a unified audio endpoint, which means your Bluetooth headset’s voice and mic will finally work properly without switching between the two endpoints (voice and mic) manually.

After the feature update, you will only see one audio endpoint when you click on the audio icon pinned to the taskbar. This means you don’t have to click through multiple audio endpoints to use voice and mic at the same time. To facilitate this feature, Microsoft will automatically switch to the correct audio endpoint.

Windows 10 21H2 comes with new features for Bluetooth audio (windowslatest.com)

Lets hope for the best. I believe it when I see it.
Microsoft / Windows / Teams has just really really terrible Bluetooth performance - period.

I have a JBL Tune500BT that did not work with Teams.

I did try disable Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator but it does not work. By chance, I found out that it works perfectly with the settings shown below.

    Hope that helps

    When in a Teams Meeting/Call,

    go to "Device Settings"

Then Select your Speaker as Stereo option of your Bluetooth Headset

Then Select the Mic of your LAPTOP.

    This worked for me...

Also, disable the Hands Free Audio.

For ages I was wondering why Spotify sounded so terrible and this was the cause.

Teams seems to like switching to it, even if you have specified otherwise.
