JBL TUNE500BT headphones with microsoft teams

I just bought JBL TUNE500BT headphones and works perfectly but on microsoft teams the sound is robotic. I tried many ways in settings but sound still not good. Is there any special driver or settings?

    I could solve the issue by connecting my JBL T750 via bluetooth audio dongle. it is totally not convenient to get extra equipment for the headphones which are supposed to work out of a box but we have what we have. I used Sennheiser BT800 dongle but I am sure that other models should also work, just to check beforehand that dongle supports all the necessary profiles. Good luck.

    Dear All,

    Problem seems to be growing bigger.

    exactly the same problem for me - the headphones work great in any other application except TEAMS.

    The child uses a laptop, so it was possible to configure the JBL 500Bt only as headphones, and the microphone was used from a laptop.

    Unfortunately, this is not a satisfactory solution, at least not what I would expect from Microsoft.

    This is really annoying!! I've got a brand new pair of  JBL Tune500BT as a Christmas gift and they work really great with all devices and apps, except MS Teams!!!

    If I select the Stereo for output, I just hear nothing (except some low but noticeable humming) if I select the hands-free as output, I just hear robotic.

    Microsoft, when will you fix this??? WHEN?????????????????????

    Does JBL TUNE500BT headphones has its own bluetooth dongle?

    Microsoft have a certification program where audio devices are certified for Teams. They check quality of microphones and bluetooth connection before a device can be certified. One requirement is to use a bluetooth dongle to connect the audio device since the built-in bluetooth in the computer can be of low quality.

    Non-supported Bluetooth devices without dongles can give audio quality issues using it with Microsoft Teams, that's why Microsoft selected some products from vendors that are certified for Teams.
