So recently our organization decided to use Microsoft Teams for our communication. And It is working fine on Web and iPhone But no one is able to login on Android Device. Whenever we try to login on Android Device using Team App, we get this error.

There was a problem with the network. Try signing in again

I have logged in using same credentials on iOS and Web and It worked but same credentials are not working on Android.

Please guide me, how to fix this issue as it is very urgent for us.

Actually the problem is when I opened Microsoft Teams a document opened saying, while downloading a app there has been some problem.

    Please check your network connection.

If I use Teams on Laptop with a Broadband Internet connection - working fine.

If I use Teams on Android app on the same Broadband Internet Connection being used to connect Laptop - Teams doesnt work.

If I use Teams on Android app but this time with Mobile Data, Team works fine on Android as well.

What can be done to get it working with WIFI .

    Same issue here:

    • Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 (SM-A320FL)
    • Android 8.0.0
    • Samsung Experience 9.0
    • Teams 1416 / 1.0.0.2021042002
    • no MS Authenticator

After entering the school email address and hitting "Sign In", Teams changes to the next screen with Teams on a black bar at the top and displays that blue rotating circle thing forever.

Sign in with the same account via PC / Web works without any issues.

Surprisingly, a lot of people face the issue without any noticable action from MS-side ...

    With disappointed regards,

      W. Stumpf

For me it was the Tor Browser that screwed the internal DNS settings. Uninstalled it and rebooted, that fixed the issue.
