Hello,

My in built microphone on my laptop works well with other  and is good on the voice recorder but I cannot take part in audio conversations on Teams because others in the conversation cannot hear me. I have tried settings on Teams and on my laptop control panel but haven't been able to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Thank you in advance.

I have exactly the same problem. It's the same with Skype too, so this is clearly a Microsoft/Windows 10 issue (Zoom etc all work fine). I tried unistalling the Realtek audio driver, which then re-installs automatically after restarting, which fixed the issue temporarily (despite breaking my audio jack). But the problem soon came back again (with the audio jack then fixing itself at the same time). Please help Microsoft, it's pretty terrible how long this is going on for and how little help we've received to fix it, it's such a pain and has been like this for months and months. Thanks

Did anyone find a solution? I am having the same problem. I tried the browser version of Teams and it was fine but once I download the desktop app no one can hear me properly.  My settings work with everything else but Teams and I need Teams for my work.

    Hi MAW1960,

Glad your post your question sir, my pleasure to assist you.

If your audio device is function properly as you mentioned on voice recorder, back to teams clients, we would like you to make a test call to see the results:

At the Teams client, click your Avatar, Devices and make sure your audio devices has already showed up, then make a test call and to test it out if you could hear anything:

In addition, we would like to confirm if you are using PCs. Make sure both parties (yourselves and other side)select the cog wheel on top right and have selected the right input devices.

    Kind Regards,

    George
