How do you copy Teams message without time and sender information?

I want to triple-click a message, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in whichever application, and I don't want to see the header (time and sender information).

Yes, it is possible to carefully select parts of a message, and make sure you don't snag the beginning or end of the message so you don't "grab" the header. This is not what I'm looking for. I want a one-click-solution.

I found this post dating from 2013, about Skype/Lync. I'm looking for the same thing in Teams.

    Hi guys, I found an alternative that seems pretty simple to work-around this problem.

    Use Case: Do a triple click on the phrase and with one Ctrl-C, copy the pure text to use it elsewhere.

    Expected Result: Having only the pure text copied to the clipboard.

    Actual Results: Although you didn't select the header, it will automatically come together and there is no configuration in Teams currently to prevent that.

    Work-around: After doing your triple-click, just hit "Shift" and the "Arrow Left" ONCE. Visually it won't change anything, you will still continue selecting the right range, however quitting this very last "invisible" character prevents Teams from copying the header together.

    this bug its quite easily one of the dumbest things Microsoft has ever implemented, which is quite a benchmark.
    stupidly simple to fix, and yet nothing.
    "shut up and hand us your money"

    Hi Benedik, your answer gave no solution. You practically quoted what the original question said about selecting the text carefully. That is too much effort! If I want the header then I also select the header together with the text, there should be the way! Not the header coming automatically. Microsoft is full or certain "innovative" changes in user experience that end up being horrible.

    Can you submit a request internal request to change this functionality to stop bringing the header together? It was not there at beginning, this is a PROBLEM that started within last 1 year.
