Unable to access my Outlook/hotmail email account. Error 401- RESOLVED

Something is wrong with my personal email account, as other members of my family are able to access their Outlook email accounts. When I try to log on to Outlook (hotmail) on my phone or on my PC, I receive the following error message. I need to be able to access my emails. Please advise on how I can resolve this. I have already reset my password and cleared my cache and history.

I have spoken with Microsoft this AM via live chat and its a known issue which is effecting some users. They are working on the issue and hope to have it resolved asap

    I'm having the same issue on two of my email addresses but not the third. I can log into my account to access other things such as this site and office, but outlook gets stuck on the blue envelope loading screen. I can't access on outlook, safari, or chrome.

    Same issue for me. Chrome outlook (hotmail) refuses to even authenticate, returns the 401 error after 90 seconds. MS Edge authenticates successfully (phone text OTP confirmation) but then gives the same 401 auth error after 90 seconds. iPhone Outlook stopped receiving messages at 12:17 Eastern time, and sent messages sit in the Outlook outbox, unsent.

    So it doesn't look like an issue with the local COM add-ins or app, rather a global Outlook server issue. I hope they resolve it soon.

    Generally same issues with me - UK - but I find on my phone the emails 'flash' into the notification and then dissaper with a note that they can not be read, Worrying because I noticed an urgent medical related email but it has completely dissapeard.

    When will this get sorted?
