So i want to play a game with my friend and he can't install the Gaming Services from the Microsoft store. It says acquiring license than all of the sudden a message that says "Something Happened On Our End. Try Again Later" or something like that. We tried so many things so if you can help it will be great! Thanks!

    This doesn't work. Create a service that works. There is no reason that I should pay for Gamepass to not work. You don't need this stupid Gaming Services program, delete it or combine it with the Xbox app. Do better.

    Hello - I have the same issue: can't install the Gaming Services from the Microsoft store. It says acquiring license than all of the sudden a message that says "Something Happened On Our End. Try Again Later" Brand new Dell Alienware PC... VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!

    Having this issue of not being able to install this, (can’t run game services as well when I do have it) and on the Xbox pc app I’m unable to download games to any of my devices. All say location isn’t set up to install games which I even did the thing it asked to do with changing where new files go.

    Any time there is an update for gaming services the xbox app needs to be closed not just minimised in the task bar otherwise you will find updating gets stuck. The same goes for reinstalling gaming services.
