I updated to Windows 11. BIG MISTAKE! Now, My laptop battery is dead and won't charge. I see lots of people had problems with the battery not charging, but my battery is dead and so none of those work for me. Will MS pay for a new battery for me since they broke my laptop? Let ne jbiw uf tgere;s aything else I can do short of spending money I don't have on a new battery.

Reading all the comments from people who had this problem, Microsoft knew this was a problem and should have fixed it before releasing it to the public.

Same... This is absolutely ridiculous. Microsoft needs to fix this ASAP. Bricking a perfectly good laptop? C'mon.

Tell me about it right. Microsoft appear to have gone into silent mode. It's time one of their Tech Support Team step up and at least tell us they acknowledge the issue and are working the problem.

I also facing the same issue. I'm using Dell Inspiron 15 3000 and the battery also not charging. Now the battery is stuck at 56% and not going over 56 even though I plugged in the source power. Please release a fix on this ASAP. This was happening once I received a new update for my laptop on last 2 weeks ago.

My Aspire 1 just did the same thing. What the heck? It was a Christmas present from my wife.

I updated my computer Acer Nitro 5 to Windows 11 two days ago. I did not realize that the battery was not charging even though the laptop was plunged in. Now my laptop is completely black out/dead and the work I was doing is gone. Who is responsible for this lost? Of cource, companies always has an escape way. Now not sure what to do since I'm far from the place I bought the laptop. Not sure if Microsoft can do anything over the phone. Is Microsoft aware of this major issue and sending any patch update?
