Windows 11/Battery dead and not charging

I updated to Windows 11. BIG MISTAKE! Now, My laptop battery is dead and won't charge. I see lots of people had problems with the battery not charging, but my battery is dead and so none of those work for me. Will MS pay for a new battery for me since they broke my laptop? Let ne jbiw uf tgere;s aything else I can do short of spending money I don't have on a new battery.

Reading all the comments from people who had this problem, Microsoft knew this was a problem and should have fixed it before releasing it to the public.

    yes I had to buy a new battery nothing to change ... I ended up buying the original Dell 65 watt charger And the problem is solved

    Hello...after my recent windows 11 update, my pc isn't charging..though it is pluged in...device is acer5 11th gen...now pc shut down due to no power... What to do now?? My battery got damaged?? How to open pc?

    My hopes are that by updating the bios it will fix the problem but I cannot update the bios with a dead battery.

    I have the same issues

    There's no detected battery when I use windows 11 in My Acer laptop

    But my Lenovo laptop still fine

    Thanks - I’m thinking if the system is connected but not running windows it should charge - I’ll try to boot it into the cmos and just let it sit - maybe then it can charge considering windows is not running- hopefully this will work- either way I will post my results once tried - another option I tried was to put my computer back to factory reset, unfortunately it woul only allow for Windows 11 to reinstall- it is as if windows 11 has deleted my original factory settings…. 🤔
