Downgrade from windows 11 to windows 10 after 10 days without losing data.

Hi, Currently I am using win11 but I'm not satisfied with the system performance compared to win10.

It has been more than 10 Days since I upgraded to win11, now the go back option is grayed out.

Is there any method to downgrade to win10 without losing data?

Nope. The only way is a reinstall.

The Windows logo will appear on screen, this might be here for a while, as long as you see the animating dots, everything should be ok.

    This is so stupid especially if you have an older computer that worked perfectly fine on windows 10. As soon as I updated to windows 11 my laptop started being slow af and not opening apps. And now I learn that I can't downgrade without going through a ton of loopholes and wiping my whole laptop?? That's such bs.

    Good addition on the data partition; but I would definitely also be aware of use of Microsoft Office365 use of OneDrive storage becoming hung up on Windows11 on the system. Microsoft is REALLY stressing the permanence of switching to Win11.

    And while you are in the process of re-installing Windows you should also consider partitioning your drive into 2 partitions, C: for Windows (and installed applications) and D: for Data.

    That way in the future you can backup your Windows and Data separately. Then if you have to re-install Windows, your personal data is not being threatened.

    No method yet, other than to back all of your data up and then import it after a system restart with a flush back to WIN10. I have put in a LOT of requests to Microsoft for support on this issue and they have been singularly without assistance.
