Downgrade from windows 11 to windows 10 after 10 days without losing data.

Hi, Currently I am using win11 but I'm not satisfied with the system performance compared to win10.

It has been more than 10 Days since I upgraded to win11, now the go back option is grayed out.

Is there any method to downgrade to win10 without losing data?

Nope. The only way is a reinstall.

    If I reinstalled windows 10, will it remove windows 11 from my computer memory? if not, how can I remove it?

    Everything questions_ said is correct.

    Yes, "all" new compooters come with factory installed activated OS, in this case Windows. Pre Win10 you needed product key, Win10/11 you don't need key.

    The specific answer to your question

    • create an image copy backup of your current Win11 (just in case worst case happens
      Trust the baby!
    • Separately, make a backup copy of your important files, so you can simply copy them back when install is done
    • You go to ASUS, (or other addon hardware specific sites) download the drivers to USB for your specific model
    • you download the current (aka newest) Win10 installer file from MS to USB (for free)
    • run the installation,
    • new MS activation system now automagically activates it for you since it was already activated in Win10 (or Win11) on this computer
    • Install the downloaded ASUS drivers
    • copy your personal files back
    • Done
    • Optionally, extend the 10 day Windows (11) OS restore

    Once Windows 10 or 11 is activated or updated licensing information is on Microsoft servers.

    This enables the end user to clean install Windows or to replace a disk drive.

    After a clean install drivers and applications need to be reinstalled.

    In the future you can change your mind or deal with unexpected computer problems by making free backup images.

    Images can be saved to another disk drive or the cloud or both.

    Then typically in less than one hour a backup image can be restored.

    These are software for backup images (most are free; there are pay versions for additional features)

    (Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)

    When upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 the operating system creates a new Windows.old.

    The Windows.old enables end users to return to Windows 10.

    By default the Window.old is deleted after ten days.

    It can be modified to sixty days.

    After the Windows.old has been deleted the options to return to Windows 10 could be:

    a) clean install (manual backup of important files)

    b) modified custom install (Windows creates a new Windows.old > important files are then restored from the windows.old)

    c) restoring a backup image (Acronis, Aoemi, EaseUS, Macrium, Paragon, etc.)
