If you are using Windows 11, you can try this:

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. On the top bar, click the right most "..." to open more option
  3. Click "option"

there are three tabs on the top, what you have to do is to click the "restore to default" button on each tab.

remember to click "apply".

    I was tearing my hair out trying to fix this same issue. My PC also had other issues ie. Slow to restart and file explorer using a lot of power.

    After a lot of investigation it turned out to be a recent windows update not playing nicely with iCloud services. After dumping all iCloud related software the problems went away.

    I would think that uninstalling would unlink by extension. Regardless, I reinstalled and unlinked, but the problem persists :(

    • CHANGING RIGISTRY
    • RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS
    • RESTART WINDOWS EXPLOERER
    • CLEAR CACHE

    You definitely can, just because it's showing 32-bit doesn't mean it can't add the double-word value.
